Rates & Discounts

A Day Use fee will be charged any boater who docks at North Point Marina, that is neither a permanent nor a transient slipholder, and does not stay overnight.

The Day Use Fee will be 50% of the normal daily transient fee for the size vessel involved. The Day Use Fee includes use of a recreational slip between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Day Use does not include access to the private bathhouse areas, use of cable TV, access to restricted parking, or dock lockers.

Any Day Use slipholder who stays beyond 8:00 PM shall be subject to the daily transient fee and shall pay the full amount. For example, if a vessel arrives at 9:00 AM, the Day Use Fee would be 50% of the normal transient rate. If the slipholder stays beyond 8:00 PM, the additional charge would be the full daily transient rate.

Transient boaters who have prepaid and subsequently cancel shall be charged a Day Use Fee on the day of cancellation. There are no refunds of Day Use Fees paid.

The purpose of this discount program is to allow permanent slipholders leasing slips to lease multiple slips at a 40% discount from the regular slip fee for their particular dock. Slipholders must be the titled owner of the vessels in the first or multiple rented slips. All vessels occupying these slips will be registered to the titled owner. Proof of ownership and registration will be required for all vessels intending to occupy the multiple slip before a contract will be executed. This program is available to non-commercial slipholders in the recreational basin only, and is subject to space availability as determined by the Marina Administrative Office (M.A.O).



The Multiple Slip Discount is available for all slip sizes in the Recreational Basin. Multiple Slip discounts may be allowed based on slip availability in the Recreational Basin. Again, the slipholder must be the registered owner and principal user of any vessel occupying a multiple slip.


Multiple slip fees will be paid according to the normal billing pattern (i.e. 25% by Dec 31st, 25% by Feb 28th, etc). No other discounts apply when the multiple slip discount is used. The multiple slip cannot be occupied if payments are in arrears. Past due slip fees for multiple slips may result in the slip being canceled and vacated. There will be no refunds for slip fees paid for a multiple slip under any circumstances.


The multiple slip can be shared by two permanent slipholders at North Point Marina. The limit for leasing and sharing a multiple slip is two slipholders. Each slipholder must sign a separate contract and provide proof of ownership for each vessel that will occupy the multiple slip. Both contracts must be submitted together and full payment must accompany the contracts. Slip locations and assignments will not be made until full payment has been received.


Should a slipholder lease a multiple slip and later wish to share it with another permanent slipholder, the multiple slip must be paid in full. A lease contract will be prepared for the multiple slipholder and proof of ownership must be provided. The multiple lease contract will be at no charge to the sharing slipholder. The sharing of the slip fee shall be the responsibility of the two slipholders.


Slipholders may allow their guests to occupy their multiple slip for a limited time. However, the slipholder is responsible for registering their guest prior to their arrival on the day of use. The slipholder’s guest will then receive a free “Day Use” pass (see Day Use Fee guidelines). No advance registrations will be accepted. Guests not registered, or guests staying beyond 8:00 PM will be charged appropriate transient fees.

The purpose of this discount program is to give a free upgrade to the next larger slip after six full consecutive seasons. Prorated or interrupted seasons will cancel eligibility. This discount is subject to availability in the recreational basin only for non-commercial slipholders.


The Old Salt Club discount means that the last five feet of an upgrade are free. If a slipholder qualifies for the discount and upgrades from a 35′ slip to a 45′ slip, the fee would include the cost between 35′ and 40′. There would be no charge for the increment between 40′ and 45′.


If the slip occupied at the end of the sixth season is the result of a downgrade in slip size during the slipholder’s tenure at the marina, that slip must have been occupied for two full seasons or more for the slipholder to be eligible for an Old Salt upgrade to the next larger slip size in the seventh season.


Should a slipholder pay to upgrade to a larger slip prior to his seventh year, he can apply his Old Salt Club discount to the new slip, which will be his current slip, if he has occupied that slip for less than two full seasons. At the end of his sixth season, if he has been in this curent slip for two seasons or more, his Old Salt Club discount must be used for an upgrade to a larger slip.


At the time a slipholder makes a move which represents an upgrade or downgrade, it is the slipholder’s responsibility to notify the M.A.O., in writing, of his intent to later apply this move to his eventual eligibility for the Old Salt Club discount. Failure to file this intent with the M.A.O. may alter the circumstances of future eligibility.


Old Salt Club discounts are subject to approval from management and upgrades are subject to space availability. The Old Salt Club discount is intended to be a permanent discount from annual slip fees, which are subject to change. An Old Salt Club slipholder keeps the free upgrade until the slip is vacated for a smaller slip, or his occupancy at North Point Marina is interrupted or terminated.

The purpose of this discount program is to reward slipholders for their consecutive full season rentals. Prorated or interrupted seasons will cancel eligibility. This discount is available for both recreational and commercial slipholders. Longevity discounts are not available in conjunction with Second Slip Discounts.


Starting with the third full consecutive seasonal rental, a slipholder is eligible to take a 3% Longevity Discount. This discount is applied to the net amount of slip rental due after any Old Salt Club discount is taken. Starting with the sixth full consecutive seasonal rental, the Longevity Discount is increased to 5%. The Longevity Discount can be taken each year until a slipholder’s consecutive full season rentals are interrupted or the slip is cancelled.


Longevity Discounts are subject to approval from management. This discount is intended to be a permanent discount from full season slip fees which are subject to change.

The Early Payment Discount is available to full season slipholders who return their completed Harbor Occupancy Agreement and 100% payment of their slip fees postmarked by a specified date. This discount is calculated on the net amount of slip rental due after all other discounts have been applied. The Early Payment Discount is not available in conjunction with the Multiple Slip Discount.


To obtain the 8%, 5%, or 3% Early Payment Discount, a slipholder must return their completed Harbor Occupancy Agreement and 100% of their annual slip fees postmarked by September 29th, October 31st or December 31st, respectively, prior to the upcoming boating season. No exceptions to the postmarked due date will be made.


The Early Payment Discount is subject to approval from management. The Early Payment Discount is intended to be available each season as a reduction from annual slip fees which are subject to change.
